Adopt an Animal

 
 
 
Adopt the care and feeding of the Discovery Center animals.
 
 
By adopting one of the animals, you assist in the care and feeding of that animal and its habitat at the Discovery Center.
 
The Western Garrett County State Park Volunteers will collect donations and supplement the care and feeding through this and other fundraisers at the Discovery Center.
 
Your generous donations feed and care for your animal for one month.

The adoption of a Monarch Butterfly purchases tags for the center and participating schools to support our tagging program and plants 10 trees around the fragile over-wintering sites in Mexico. Through the La Cruz Habitat Protection Project. http://www.lchpp.org
If a butterfly is found in the sites you will also recieve a certificate from Monarch Watch.
